There is also a 3-D impression of a Dorje on the inside bottom of the bowl. A true gem, made by Buddhist monks. A harmonious and hypnotizing sound is made by rubbing the wood mallet against the top edge.

Each of these bowls is actually handmade by Buddhist monks in Nepal, and in the event that we are sold out it may take up to 60 days for more to be in stock. Made from Metal Alloy, the small bowl is 5" in diameter and 3" high, and the large is 5.5"-6" in diameter and 3" high. Each bowl comes with a mallet and a decorative pillow. Sometimes known as a Lung Ding, this basin first appeared in China's Han Dynasty. Each bowl is hand-cast out of Green Patina Brass, with fine detailing of intertwined dragons etched into the bottom.
